On March 12, OLSS welcomed Atlantic County Women's Hall of Fame trustees and members to speak to girls in our 7th and 8th Gr. ACWHF is dedicated to acknowledging women who have contributed so much to the residents and the overall community of Atlantic County, and dedicated to motivating and inspiring young women to expand their horizons and fulfill their goals.
Students heard from Terri L. Schieder-Rann of Atlanticare and Alicia Cooper of N.J. Casino Control Commission, who each shared their professional and personal experiences on the road to success, and offered their career advice and tips to students. They emphasized the importance to never stop learning, finding your passion and earning a college degree, along with creating a healthy life balance. Great advice for young girls!
