One Judge One School comes to Our Lady Star of the Sea
Updated: May 11, 2020

On Monday, May 11th Judge Bernard E. DeLury, Jr., P.J.Cr., Presiding Judge, from the Criminal Part of Atlantic and Cape May Counties will do a ‘virtual’ visit for the OLSS 7th and 8th grade students.
Due to the recent world events the judges are not able to present in person, so the courts have done the next best thing. They will do a virtual visit where the schools can connect to the courts and view the judges holding court proceedings.
This One Judge One School affiliate has been going strong since 2013 and each year more schools have been added with a total of close to 70 schools now participating. It has been a huge success and very well accepted.
Judge DeLury’s visit is scheduled from 10 am to 1 pm. The students will view criminal court proceedings. When the proceedings have concluded it is also expected that the judge will talk to the students via livestream and attorneys, who are also expected to be presented.
