OLSS Important Message from Ms. Spina -3/31/20

Dear Our Lady Star of the Sea School Families,

I hope your family is safe and healthy during this challenging time.

As a follow up to the information released by the Diocese of Camden, I would like to give specifics related to OLSS. Our teachers are preparing on-line lessons to continue to deliver quality instruction to their students. It comes in the form of Google Classroom, Class Dojo, or other online sources which can be accessed via computer, tablet, or smart phone.

Please encourage your student to devote time each day working on assignments and activities. Students and families are adjusting to this new way of learning which we understand. Teachers and parents working together with students can make this in-home instructional model successful during the physical school building closure. Set aside time each day for your child to work on assignments and activities and I encourage continuous communication with teachers. Our OLSS teachers are dedicated and are finding numerous ways to support student needs via electronic format.

Please also make sure you complete his or her paper packets. Packets included 2 to 3 weeks of academic work. Now, all instruction will be delivered online. Please continue to recite your morning and afternoon prayers and keep our OLSS families and parishioners.

Thank you for your patience and partnership as we continue to provide quality instruction to our OLSS Students. Continue to visit www.OLSSAC.org for updates, as well as, our Facebook page at www.facebook@olssacnj.com.

Thank you,

Carol Spina, Principal
